HUGE 20" Vintage Robert H Farquhar Celestial Globe astronomical solar zodiac map

Description

In good vintage condition with obvious signs of age and educational use such as light scuffs, scratches, and some scotch tape residue.
The globe is not dated but Farquhar was producing these primarily in the 60’s and somewhat into the early 70’s to coincide with the Space Race.
Includes original black cloth covered stand.
Globe is signed by Robert H Farquhar while the base displays a small brass trimmed plaque.
Globe is approximately 20″ in diameter.
Globe features rotatable sun which illustrates the elliptic which is standard for these devices, the unique part is the dial is made from an old penny.
